Snowflake Paint Printing

Play to Learn Preschool
We've had only a little bit of snow this winter in Virginia, but we've had quite a bit of disruption to school with snow days and delays.  This easy painting project is perfect for a short winter art center.
To begin, each student had a large sheet of white construction paper.  They taped doilies to the paper.
Next, they used bath poofs (from the dollar store, of course!) to stamp blue paint all over the paper.
When the whole paper was covered, we carefully lifted the doilies to reveal beautiful surprise snowflakes.  The result was similar to the tape resist snowflakes that we make last year, and the students were so excited by their creations.

Have fun playing and learning with your children today!
