Snow Dough - 2 Ingredients!

We made some incredibly cool "Snow Dough" at the art center today.  I found a blog about Two-Ingredient Dough and thought that it was too good to be true.  We had to try it ourselves!

This "Soft as a Cloud" dough requires cornstarch and hair conditioner.  Easy enough!  We mixed equal parts together in a bowl.  There was no cooking required, and the students were happy to get their hands messy and help!

We had to add a little extra cornstarch.  And then a little more conditioner.  And a bit more cornstarch.  It's not an exact science!  But when the consistency was right, it formed a beautiful soft ball of dough.

The texture of this Snow Dough was so soft!  It does not have any of the grainy feel like our regular salt dough, and it made our hands so soft and fragrant.

We made lots of snowmen, snowballs and snow forts.  The kiddos just couldn't keep their hands off of it.
If you have young children at home (or even older ones-- my 4th and 5th graders played with it after school!), mix up a batch and I guarantee it will keep them busy for an hour!

Enjoy playing and learning with your children today.
