Salt Tray Writing Practice

It is so important that our preschoolers practice writing with lots of different materials and utensils. They found these salt trays to be irresistible.
To set up the center, we placed a set of alphabet flash cards (as a model) next to shallow trays of salt. The students could choose to use a paint brush or a popsicle stick to write.
The sound and feel of the salt on the trays is fun, so in addition to writing letters, we had a few friends draw other pictures and spend time touching it.
The other thing that I like about these salt trays is that they are very easy to clear. I took a quick video to show you how it works:
Have fun playing and learning with your children today!

  2. The medical school personal statement is just one part of your entire medical school application. Your GPA, MCAT, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation and interview make up the rest. family medicine residency personal statement
