Using natural materials in art projects is FREE and so much fun. We gathered the acorn lids from our sensory bin and used them to paint fall pictures.
This was an open-ended process art project. The students were free to stamp, brush or swirl their acorn lids to make a picture.
One artistic super-star even used the acorns and paints to make a picture of her favorite things -- dinosaurs!
Gather up a few acorn lids, pour some paints and let your children be fall artists today! Enjoy.
