Apple Tree Art

Apple art projects are great decorations for our bare beginning-of-the-year walls!  To make this one, the students completed 3 steps:

First, the teachers traced each child's arm and hand with pencil.  Then the kiddos used markers to color it in.  This will be the tree trunk.

Next, they use a bath puff ($1 at Target) to paint green leaves all over the tree.

Finally, it's time for apples.  We used clothespins and pom poms dipped in red paint to make the apples.  Delicious!

This art project was a great addition to our Apple Centers and Circle Lessons.
Have fun playing and learning with your children today!
